"We efficiently develop products with added value."
Lisa, what makes a good product for you as a product designer?
It must generate added value for users and the company. With our current product development, we have helped to rethink an IT security process. We have solved many user problems with our product while reducing working time and producing better quality results. Previously, it took three months with 600 minutes of active working time to run through a product. We were able to reduce that to 10 minutes. Since going live nine months ago, we have saved more than 250 years of waiting time and over 1,400 active working days.

How do you ensure that your products offer users and the company exactly what they need?
We want to efficiently develop products with added value. To do this, we use user research to minimize the risk of making the wrong product decisions. For example, we conduct interviews to understand current user behaviour and the opportunities to influence it with our product in a way that adds value. We later validate our solutions, for example, with usability tests. So, we learn continuously and iteratively. What is essential for us is product autonomy. In other words, the freedom to make the product decisions that we, as a team, consider sensible.
