As a result, this was another business segment that opened up for Audi Sport customer racing in international GT racing with new opportunities and target groups. The answer from the brand with the four rings: the most powerful model in its customer racing model line-up, the Audi R8 LMS GT2. Introduced in 2019, it was ready to take on the new GT2 category from 2020 onwards, wherein customer teams have celebrated numerous race wins and titles around the world.
