Audi at the 2024 OMR Festival: “The Power of Progress!”
Ever since the OMR (Online Marketing Rockstars) Festival in Hamburg was founded, Audi has been a partner – and the main sponsor for the fourth year in a row. While digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), and new offers were discussed on stage, visitors could experience new vehicles outside.
Those passionate about digital marketing and current online trends should not miss this event in Germany. Since 2011, tens of thousands of visitors meet up in Hamburg, Germany, year after year to learn, converse with others and keep their fingers on the pulse of the times. Audi was again present as a long-standing partner of the festival.
The digital transformation at Audi
On the main stage, Hildegard Wortmann, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG, explained how Audi is advancing the digital transformation.
Transformation can only succeed with innovative strength and technologies.
What will help Audi here? A customer-centric, holistic ecosystem. All touchpoints need to be digitalized to that end, making it possible to offer customers a consistent and personalized brand experience. This will bring "Vorsprung durch Technik” to life.
Three launched services show what’s possible:
• Audi charge and explore: A route planner that turns charging time into a charging experience.
• Audi active coach: A personal vitality and mood coach for the journey.
• Audi Progress Circle: Where every click reveals a new unique brand encounter.
“
AI helps us to understand what customers prefer, to predict trends and thus to improve our products and services.”
Artificial intelligence in marketing
Artificial intelligence (AI) will help more and more with this in the future.
AI is already helping with keyword optimization and maximizing the effectiveness of budgets. At the next level, AI will also be used for creative production and highly automated creative format variations.

The new digital world of Audi
But despite all the fascination with new capabilities, one thing remains indispensable: the physical experience.
The visitors in Hamburg were able to take a closer look at the best example of this: the new Audi Q6 e-tron*. This was the first time since its world debut in March that the new fully electric premium SUV was able to be experienced up close in Germany.
Among the many technological highlights offered by the first production model based on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) is an entirely new user experience. The Audi MMI panoramic display and the MMI front passenger display form a clearly designed digital stage that allows individual access to an ecosystem of apps and features.
