For us, digitalization doesn’t mean collecting data. It’s about ideas.

My team and I are responsible for the IT infrastructure at the Neckarsulm site. If anyone here at the site wants Wi-Fi, they contact us. We also look after all the networks in production. Servers and various production facilities communicate with each other from the production lines. In simple terms, we ensure that all people and machines communicate smoothly with each other. Whether at home, in the car or in another city, we make sure that we all work closely networked. We also share and network our data and servers, as well as our ideas and knowledge.

We always have to be up to date here – in our technology and in our thinking. We are constantly on the lookout for technological innovations. There is always new hardware and technologies. The courage to do things is important to me. Being able to implement new ideas is a lot of fun. I get along great with my colleagues at Audi IT. My boss has never interfered technically in any of my tasks. He lets me do what I want to do, but he also always backs me up. Our leadership culture is just great.
