Munich, Säbener Straße
Mitja Lafere is well known in Munich as a TV presenter, DJ, and restaurateur. On the Grand Tour with Audi, he can pursue another passion – with his driver’s license in his trouser pocket and the FC Bayern shirt on his shoulders, he is ideally prepared for the upcoming journey. Because today, as a fan of Germany’s most successful football club, he is sitting behind the wheel of the Audi RS e-tron GT FC Bayern Edition. It’s already clear before he sets off that this away trip will be unforgettable.
The Audi design team designed the wrap of the all-electric car to celebrate the new partnership between Audi and Bayern Munich in European matches. The wrap design is inspired by the FC Bayern third shirt that Mitja is wearing. The Audi RS e-tron GT FC Bayern Edition has thus become a symbol of the two companies’ partnership and their successful future together.

Salzburg, MOONCITY
Arriving in Salzburg, Mitja drives past the iconic cityscape in the Audi RS e-tron GT and to the Grand Tour’s first official stopover. He is meeting freelance photographer and former professional snowboarder, Tom Klocker, in MOONCITY – an innovative experience center for electromobility. It’s also good because both driver and car deserve a little change of scene after an enjoyable two hours of driving. Although the drive to Salzburg did not use up even half of the Audi RS e-tron GT’s range, the charging stations at the venue are still used briefly.
Meanwhile, Mitja and Tom go into the MOONCITY World of Experience. They continue the Grand Tour together on foot and experience an adventure in energy and mobility through augmented, virtual and mixed reality, and simulators. At the various exhibit stations they experience the technology and solutions of the future, which are also the starting point of this joint journey. The Audi RS e-tron GT is, in fact, not only the central trailblazer of this away trip, it is also a vision of the future that has become a machine. Its Grand Tour is an away trip in many senses – the drive to see your favourite team’s match, the experience of another city and its culture, and the handing down of an all-electric mission for the future.

Salzburg, Stadium
Together Mitja, Tom and the Audi RS e-tron GT drive on through Salzburg – a breathtakingly beautiful city with historic and cutting-edge architecture in equal measure. They feel the magic of the places they pass and the admiring glances directed at the Audi RS e-tron GT. In this car you are part of something special. The shared driving experience in the Audi RS e-tron GT finally culminates in their visit the Stadium of FC Salzburg. The massive building appears almost oblique and is spanned by a suspended roof. The stadium was carefully embedded in its surroundings, taking into account both the nearby historic Klessheim Palace and the adjacent landscape. The result is both rich in contrast and harmonious. Here, too, they feel the tremendous energy of the venue and everything it stands for.
Wearing FC Bayern’s jerseys, here they become a team who, after having mastered the Grand Tour together, now set off to watch the first-leg match in the opposing team’s stadium. The matchday experience is the climax of this joint trip whose starting point and goal reflect a successful joint future.
